# L309 -Sheaffer, USA, early demonstrator pencil, c. 1918; has three original factory cut-outs to reveal the mechanism, 5 1/8" / 12.9 cm long, NP all-metal construction, uses 1.1 mm lead, imprinted on the body: "DEMONSTRATOR" and at the top "Sheaffer´s Lifetime Pat - Pat Pending Made in USA". It is in very good shape having only a very small pinprick just above the lower cut-out and a hairline crack on the cap (both shown in the photograph). An interesting and rare pencil in very good condition
